Ananta Sammakorn Palace

Previously the parliament building, this stately palace was built during the reign of Rama V and completed by RamaVI. It is still used forthe ceremonial opening of the first parliamentary session but other sessions are held at the new Parliament nearby. The interior was influenced by renaissance architecture and the dome is decorated with detailed frescos of Royal ceremonies and festivities.
