The dancing fountains are accompanied by a little light music and are a source of delight. The garden displays various plants in groups according to their botanical families. Among the most beautifully displayed plants here is the Lotus Garden. The flowers are put in geometric shaped pools according to species. The pools themselves are shaped like the leaves of the flower surrounding a central circular pool. Among the different verities of lotus found her there is the beautiful Siam Ruby Lotus and the Victoria Water lily. The Banana Yard has over 70 species of Banana trees. The Frangipani garden bears charming frangipani whose scent fills your senses. Other yards include the Hibiscus Yard and the Asoka Tree Yard. The most famous vine found here is the ‘golden leaf vine’ which has lovely butterfly shaped leaves. It was found by the Queen at the Bayo waterfall. Another species is the Yao Lipin which has light green colored leaves. The Provincial Tree Garden is in the shape of Thailand and each region is depicted by a local tree. A building houses more beautiful flora which has been carefully preserved in jars by the Queen and was built to commemorate her 72nd birthday. This park also houses Thailand’s first Garden for the vision impaired. The Blind Garden allows them to get acquainted with these flowers by sense of touch and smell.
