  • Dusit Zoo It is Thailand’s oldest zoo. It was established in 1938 by the municipalty of Bangkok. Originally it was a part of the Royal Dusit Zoo Garden which was established by Rama V as his personal botanical garden. The land was granted by King Rama VIII for the Zoo to become public.

  • This is a very fun place to visit for families. Children have a whale of time here. From seeing beautiful and fascinating animals to enjoying a picnic this Zoo offers perfect spot for a family Sunday.
    The zoo has many attractions for the children. There is a train which follows a track around the zoo, the kids love to ride on it. The area of the Zoo is split up into 31 acres of land and 12 acres of water. You can go peddle boating in the lake. There is also go karting which everybody enjoys.
    The zoo 288 mammals, 292 reptiles and 1018 birds. With it’s idyllic lakes and nature setting it is a perfect picnic spot. The zoo is in the Dusit district between Chitlada Palace and the National Assembly Hall. Go enjoy a day with your family.
