  • The King Rama 9 Royal Park Suan Luang Rama 9 or The King Rama 9 Royal Park Is the best completely metropolitan park with biggest 500 Rais. Established by Suan Luang Rama 9 foundation and Thai people who love the King. This park was set for dedicate to King Rama 9 when the celebrate 60 years times (5 loops) Birthday on 5 december 1987.

  • The landscape of the park combines aesthetics and functionality. It is divided into six zones. The first zone named the Uthayan Maharaje (Garden of the Great King) is dedicated to the grace and sovereignity of his majesty. It has a beautiful boating place around it, perfect fro relaxation.
    The second zone is a plush botanical garden. IT is dedicated to collection of and research on diverse flora from various countries. The third zone is the Trapangkaew reservoir, it is a flood prevention project undertaken by his majesty the King. Function and beauty have found a perfect amalgamation here.
    The fourth zone is a beautifully detailed miniature garden which depicts Thailand’s natural heritage. IT is called the Rommaniya Gardens. The fifth zone is meant to provide a setting for various festivities and entertainment. It is named the Sanam Rasdra which means the People’s field.
    The sixth and final zone in this amazing garden is the Water Garden which harbors various fish species and other aquatic ferns. This is perhaps the most modern complex on Thailand. Enjoy a day of beauty and culture beautifully intermixed with each other. It is located on the Sukhamvit Road and you can reach there easily by bus.
    The admission fee is 15 B. It remains open from six in the morning to six in the evening.
