How to Reach There?
The closest air port is Ko Samui which is well connected to Bangkok and Phuket. You also get daily flights from Singapore and U-Tapao. There are weekly flights form Kuala Lampur. After that you have Ferry service from Ko Samui to Haad Rin and other places. If you want to make your travel more exciting than take Government Service Buses to Na Dan and from there take a Ferry to the place.
Overnight train services is also avauilable from Bangkok to Surat Thani or Chumphon from where you can travel by Bus to Ferry ports and then by Ferry to the Island. The whole journey would be very thrilling and exciting.
What to See and Do?
The place Ko Pha Ngan have beautiful waterfalls in the interior of the island. If you feel tired after having long party enjoying the Ko Pha Ngan nightlife then visit the herbal sauna ar Wat Pho a great place to relief yourself. The north west ko pha ngan beach has one of the best snorkeling places in the island. There is a beautiful Chinese temple between Chaloklum and Thongsala which overlooks the Bay of Chaloklum. If you are an animal lover you will like the Elephant Camp on your way to places like Baan Tai or to Nai Pa.
Here are few more things to do - Scuba Diving in Koh Pha-Ngan is really interesting. There is sites of scuba diving for both experts and beginners. The water around Ko Pha Ngan is much better than many places around the world islands. Sailrock is the most famous place of dive in this place.
Full Moon Party Ko Pha Nagan. This festival or party takes place in Haad Rin which is an expanded village. You find this place full of beach bars, chicken burgers and other things at cheap prices. It is one most popular night of each month the night of Full moon and the party. Besides the Full moon party there are other parties too like half moon party two times a month, Jungle parties, Black moon party and Shiva Moon party. There is always something to do in this heavenly place no matter whenever you reach there.
You can learn archery techniques, hiking around the island is full of fun and adventurous, have beautiful spa resorts, great places to shop around some of their local artists works, go on eating perfect Thai food and drinking the Sheesha or other preferable drinks of the place.
