Koh Samui

Koh samui is one of the islands situated in the gulf of Thailand. The place is also called Samui which is situated about 700 km from bangkok and is about 80 km in each coastline of Southern Thailand.

The island was inhabitated some 15 centuries ago by fishermen from Malay Peninsula and Southern China. Till 20th century this was isolated self sufficient community having very little communication with the mainland Thailand. But today it is one of the major attractions of Thailand islands which is flooded by millions of tourists every year. The place is famous for its long tranquil beaches giving you the perfect relief from the hustle and bustle of your bust life.

There are some national parks whose some portions are open for commercial purposes and tourist attractions.

The place is well connected with flights from Bangkok and other international air ports like Phuket, Singapore and Kuala Lampur. Ground transport from the air port to hotels and resorts is readily available in the place.
You can also reach the place through Ferry services from Surat Thani which would cost you only 150 bahts. There are also regular ferries and speedboat services from Ko pha Ngan and Ko Tao. Accommodation:
