It is just 16 kilometers from the town and it is famous for its hand woven cloth that is known as Khit. Out of this cloth several types of products are made and they are also available for sale. Another beautiful place to visit in Udon Thani is the Udon Saeng Tawan (Sunshine) Orchid Garden. It is located in Soi Kamol Watthana on the route of Udon-Nong Samrong. The major source of income for the garden is the production of the species of Thai scented orchid, as they put them on sale. These species are known as Udon Sunshine.There are some other places in Udon Thani that you should not miss.
