Uttaradit Province is in the Northern part of Thailand, it is Located on the banks of River Nan, this place has got a very long history since prehistoric times, the original city of Uttlaradit was called as Bang Pho and was the an important hub for good transportation for north ,later king Rama V evaluated the status of Bang Pho and declared bang Pho as Province and changed its name to be Uttaradit

457 kilometers by drive away from Bangkok, and Uttaradit is divided into 9 districts, Muang Uttaradit, Lab Lae, Pichai, Tha Pla, Nam Pard, Fak Tha, Baan Khok , Thong Saenkhan and Tron District Apart from the annual fruit festival in Uttaradit, there are number of sight worth seeing..
